Wow, I feel like I just climbed out of a pile of eight track tapes into cyberspace. It's freaky.
Yes, I am one of those people who gets on the computer and two minutes later the stupid thing is flickering and beeping for mercy. It's hard to believe that people mess up by acident. Messing up is complicated. A spouse or a friend takes hours resuccitating the crazy critter. I must have hit some cyber nerve or artery to bring the machine close to death.
Speaking of "close to death" who says there is no life out in space? make that cyber space. I've seen enough movies and read enough books about machines taking over the world to wonder. Maybe we just breathed "life" into these big plastic cased mazes of chips and other nameless and confusing wires and boards. Yes, we still have the first computer that we ever bought. We just replace parts. Come on, you gonna throw away your old man or lady just because they need an operation? have a heart. I know the older a computer gets the bigger they seem. An old beast that is what they are. now I have had some very nasty thoughts about getting a flat screen- a slim little number that will fit on a small desk in the kitchen. Yes, everyone else in my house has taken lap tops in. My big beast of a computer and I watch them shameslessly surf the web over and over and over. It's disgusting and a little frightening I think to my computer but still...I wonder. What would it be like to have a computer that could go every where? Well, I think that a flat screen is as far as my fantisies can go right now. A laptop in the kitchen.
Which brings me to who I am- a domestic goddess. O.K. minus the godlike traits, minus the subtle inference of regal beauty both in face and body. Right now I have a towel draped around my my fair hair and am wearing no makeup. My volumpious curves have overdone their work and I am volumpiousing at a rate that will end me in the hospital for heart surgery. Yes, I fight the battle of the bulge. (just love that play on words) I am afraid that my face will someday disappear into folds of fat. What I should do is go out and kill every bag of doritos I see. It would be poetic justice.
Wait, kill every bag of doritos I see? This blog is supposed to be about finding someone to talk to , some bit of comfort in the middle of the night. I wanted to tell how I cant sleep sometimes because I am so worried and stressed and I go on line looking for some kind of encouragement. I feel like I'm wandering through a bunch of empty houses, going through closests and drawers. Sometimes I just want someone to tell me everything is going to be ok somehow. That is what this blog is supposed to be all about-encouragement and hope. like the kind I needed so often and could not find. How could I have deteriated to hunting down a bag of snacks in cold blood? If they are shot do they not bleed? NOT! They just leak out chemicals and choleseral much of which i have consummed in the last few years. The next time I blog I want to encourage. I want to look down from my tower of strenth and piety and tell you what you should do to make life worth while. That is what I want but....I will most likely look up from a puddle of mush and ask if you mind a bit of company while i figure out how to make it through the next ten minutes. One blog at a time I guess. Dont you hate cleches (I can't spell it...does that mean I cant hate it?) Darn! Bye, and hey, thanks for reading my blog...you have a heart and that will get you a long ways...I mean it...I am all for living from the heart even though my stomach sometimes gets in the way...there is too little compassion and too much pushing. Compassion rocks and can sure shock people...Take care
Shocked....shucks I forgot what I was going to sign my blog and the computer wont let me go back and look. that is not very nice. Love ya anyhow
